Submittals
Construction Communicator helps you quickly and easily manage submittals. Here's how. As new submittals are received from the trade contractor, the architect - or general contractor - logs each submittal into the online construction project management system.
The architect can either review and comment on the submittal or forward it online to the appropriate consultant who can also send comments to the architect online. When the consultant's input is received, the architect reviews it and sends the submittal comments online to the contractor. The marked up submittal can be attached electronically to the submittal comments. Automatic emails notify the individual parties that an item needing their attention has been posted online. The information is automatically date stamped, logged and displayed in a graphical calendar. All authorized users see identical information. Users can easily toggle between the summary log/calendar information and individual screens to view detailed information. The process can take as little as an one hour. Using traditional methods, this type of communication often took anything from one to several weeks. Other construction documents, including RFIs, ASIs and change orders, can also be submitted and tracked online. Interested?
