Construction Communicator helps you quickly and easily respond to RFIs. Here's how.
When contractors have a problem (e.g., a dimension on the architect's drawings) they send an RFI to the architect, using the form in the online construction management software.
If the architect cannot answer the RFI directly, he will route it online to a consultant for design input. The consultant's response will be returned to the architect online.
The architect then submits the consultant's response, for the contractor and all the other members of the AEC team to see online.
Automatic e-mails notify recipients that new RFIs have been posted online. The information logs are updated in real time and all users see identical information.
New RFIs are automatically displayed on a graphical, online calendar, which helps track the status of outstanding items. Each item is linked to a response or comment page for processing the document.
Architects, contractors, engineers and other design consultants can easily toggle between the summary log/calendar information and individual screens to view detailed information.
Other construction paperwork, including submittals, ASIs and change orders can also be submitted and tracked online.
